Work hard and play hard!  The various Quad City communities have summer festivals, Iowa/Illinois Tug Fest, River Roots Live, October Fests, and Winter Walks to name a few.  The hundreds of miles on Illinios & Iowa walkways offer wonderful river views. The annual Bix Fest brings in thousands of amateur and professional runners from all over the world!  The many restaurants, bars, and theatres have something for everyone.  The majority of restaraunts on the river provide docks, and accommodate boaters for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  There are marinas on both sides of the river.  Bettendorf, Davenport, and Rock Island all have casinos for entertainment.  The Isle of Capri in Bettendorf, Rhythm City Casino in Davenport, and Jumer’s  Casino and Lodge in Rock Island.   The numerous golf courses both public and private provide all levels of golf with manicured courses.
